Umori

Umori is a triptych of ambient pieces each composed using a different method. 

In Orientation, a point is moved within a square of overlapping circles that correspond to different samples. As the point approaches the center of a circle the sample gets louder. The piece is an unedited performance of a point slowly orienting itself to and navigating the square.

OHMY was produced in a more traditional left-to-right overdub style of composition. The core of the piece is a piano recording through a granular synthesizer. The piece then consists of multiple heavily edited overdubs on a modular synthesizer.

Arps Taped Windowless is a tape loop manipulated in real time by a modular synthesizer. The piece is a lightly edited version of a single take performance.
